My name is Michele Bauer Pulis. I am the mother of 6 and grandmother of 4 – all born through natural childbirth. I’m seeking contributions for a book about natural childbirth that I’m writing. The book will focus on hypnosis techniques as well as other information I can gather from successful experienced mom. I would like to be as comprehensive as possible - so I'm reaching out to as many moms as possible. I’m gathering stories and advice from experienced natural childbirth mothers – and am particularly interested in relaxation techniques, birth metaphors used, imagery, visualizations, affirmations, etc. (For example one of my daughters visualized herself lifting heavy colorful objects with each contraction – as the strength of the contraction grew the objects got heavier – as the contraction faded they got lighter. Another woman visualized her cervix opening like a rosebud booming into a rose…many women are very creative – and these are especially the type of things I’d love to be able to share.) I'm also trying to gather inspirational successful peaceful natural birth stories. I will be grateful for anything you or anyone reading this can contribute.
