When my parents first moved to australia, some 49 years ago, they lived in melbourne, boarding with a beautiful woman who became know to us over time as Nana B, dont even know what the B stood for. Over the years we spent many days and weekends at her house, eating cupcakes off beautiful china and most of all hiding in the Hydrangea bushes outside her front door, we have many photos of us with picked ones in our hair, or just standing around them. Thanks for the post and the memories that it allowed to seep through. Love to you all

O Denise! They are just nana flowers aren't they!
My mama ( we said it Mar mar) had them out the front of her place and I have fond memories of being a bride with them. :)
Thanks for your lovely story.
