We had so much fun at the weekend making our own tortillas. Oh were they yummy, and soooo much better than the ones you buy in shops. The girls loved rolling the dough into little balls. Maurie was happy to hang about and watch the goings on from his perfect vantage point.

The tortillas are made with flour, water and polenta (or cornmeal) as apparently the special flour that is used in Mexico is not available outside of Mexico. I got the recipe from a Kurma Dasa cook book.

I fear I have created way more work for myself as I will never be satisfied with the bought ones again. Now to get the girls to perfect their technique so they can make them. :)
