How do you nurture yourself in a day?
Here is a pic of Spring coffee time...a time I look forward to every day.
I am pretty much amongst it with my kids 24/7 with the odd break here and there for ballet class, visit to papa's etc. Not wanting a medal for that...
Some people are worried about home educating because they will never get a break, and yes, it can be relentless meeting the demands of kids constantly. But I have a little sanctuary in my day... a time where at least 3 of my children (baby is only 9 months) respect that I am off limits for about ... oh... 10 minutes.
We have the indulgence of a coffee machine which gets a work out daily I can tell you.
After lunch, I make my coffee, and when the sun shines, i head to the verandah facing north, bubba under arm, to soak up some sun, and drink in some happiness. The few minutes of 'me time' in the middle of the day some how refuel and renew... not to mention revive and rev up (thanks caffein).
Coffee time in the sun is my sanctuary some days.
How do you refuel?

Mmm coffee. Pity there is no sun, but I might just go and make me some :)
